Colts Community Chronicle Sept. 4-8 | Staffing, Athletics, Clothing, Bell Schedule, School Council, Forms, Volunteering
Good afternoon everybody! It was so exciting having all of our students back in the school last week. I managed to get around to most of the classrooms to introduce myself and talk briefly about the expectations that we have for students at A.E. Cross. We talked about what it means to be a good citizen within our school community and how it will be extremely important to:
- Respect Yourself
- Respect Each Other
- Respect Your Community
We will revisit these ideas throughout the school year. I am really looking forward to how our students contribute to the school community this year!
As stated last week, I will be sending out weekly messages to the school community in an attempt to keep everybody up to date on what is a very busy school at A.E. Cross. So, please see below for the inaugural edition of the "Colts' Community Chronicle". Some of the information that you will find in the message include:
- Staffing Information - New Grade 9 Homeroom made
- Colts Athletics - Soccer, Cross-Country Running and Basketball starting soon
- Information about Bell Schedule
- Lunchtime Expectations
- Meet the Teacher Evening Information - Thursday, September 14th at 6:00 PM
- School Council Information
I look forward to getting to know all of you over the course of the school year. Have a great Labour Day!
