¡Buenas tardes y felices fiestas! Good afternoon and happy holidays! It is amazing to think that we have just one week of school left before Winter Break! Please note that this is the last Colts' Community Chronicle of 2023. The last day of classes for students prior to the break is Friday, December 22, 2023. The next edition of the weekly message will be sent out during the afternoon of Sunday, January 7, 2024, a day before classes resume after the break.

We have a busy week of holiday activities planned for students to get everybody in the spirit of the season! Tomorrow at school, we are encouraging staff and students to wear Colts' colours (orange and black). Also, at lunch in the art room, we will have some holiday colouring available to students (colouring will run from 12:25 pm to 12:45 pm). For a full list of activities and themed dress up days, please check out this week's edition of the Chronicle.

Thank you to eveybody who donated to the Project Kindness campaign during the past two weeks. It is very heartwarming to see community members helping each other out during the holidays! If you have any last minute donations, please have your child bring them to the Main Office on Monday, December 18. Our grade 9 leadership class is participating in a Food Drive for the Calgary Food Bank. Please have your children drop off any food items to the main office before Thursday, December 21.

We want to wish all of our families the best holiday season. We hope that you have a restful, relaxing, festive holiday filled with laughter and fun.
