Good afternoon families! ¡Buenas tardes familias! We hope that you have had a good weekend.

Just a reminder that next week's Colts' Community Chronicle will be the last one for the 2023-2024 school year. There will be back to school information shared with the Grade 7 and Grade 8 families during the last week of school. The first day of classes for students in 2024-2025 will be August 29, 2024.

Even though we are nearing the end of the school year, A.E. Cross continues to be a busy place. We want to congratulate all of our track and field athletes who represented our school at the division meet on Friday. There were some excellent performances and a lot of fun was had by everybody!

Provincial Achievement Testing is ongoing with Math (Part B), Social Studies and Science tests occurring this week. Please note that on days when PATs are taking place, there are regular classes for all students during the afternoon. Please make sure that you contact the main office if your child is going to be absent over the next couple of weeks of school. Additionally, Grade 7 and Grade 8 students will be engaging in year-end assessments during the morning of June 18 - 20. We are excited to have the students demonstrate their learning as the year comes to an end.

We hope that you have a great week. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school. Take care.

Colts' Community Chronicle - June 17 to June 21

Sincerely,

Randy Lewis
